About Us

Arley Rae Australia was established in 2019 with the aspiration to become the premier destination for premium crocodile leather goods in Australia. Replacing an existing leather shop within our company, Arley Rae is a subtle celebration and nod to the hardwork and dedication to the crocodile industry by our founders who are innovative leaders in both tourism and crocodile farming. Arley Rae is named for a family member of one of such founders, and we believe our Arley to be as bold and as brilliant as her namesake.

Arley Rae specialises in Saltwater crocodile leather goods. Internationally recognised as a highly durable leather of great individual beauty, the skin from saltwater crocodiles (Crocodylus porosus) is also one of the fashion industry’s most luxurious and highly sought-after leathers. Each skin has its own individual pattern ensuring that every item produced is one of a kind.

Arley Rae Australia uses some of the highest-grade, ethically sourced skins available and world-class leather craftsmen to manufacture quality, classic, and stylish products across our exclusive Arley Rae lines. Creating luxurious products, with outback flair from the heart of the Territory.

Supporting industry best practice

All leather for the products on display at Arley Rae Australia, 58 Mitchell Street, Darwin NT, and for sale online via arleyrae.com is purchased from The Darwin Crocodile Farm, a major commercial producer of Crocodylus porosus (saltwater crocodile).

The Darwin Crocodile Farm follows industry best practice and commercially produce crocodile skins in a sustainable manner, whilst protecting and promoting northern Australia's wild crocodile population.
Established in 1981, the farm has an international reputation for its production of quality skins.

Crocodiles are bred and raised on the farm under the Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Commission's Crocodile Management Program, to produce superior quality crocodile skins.
